Brandweek Miami fills a convention floor with corporate booths, and Group Black's Hip-Hop 50th anniversary work was going into it. My own brief was to build something people would want to walk into and stay in.
The concept was a pop-up vintage vinyl store and lounge, where people dug through Hip-Hop history during the day and caught surprise DJ sets from Maseo of De La Soul at night. I designed the space, built the mainstage keynote and branded the yacht party headlined by Kid Capri. I also wrote the coverage plan for the photo and video teams working both events.
